Refund Policy

This policy describes how refunds work for programs and products purchased from Tax Practice Consulting, Inc. DBA Your Own Books (“Your Own Books,” “we,” “us”).

Program enrollments (CTPP and cohorts)

• Before materials are accessed: if you enroll and have not yet accessed the course materials or attended a live session, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
• After materials are accessed: once you have accessed a meaningful portion of the program materials or attended a live cohort session, the enrollment is generally non-refundable, because the value has been delivered.
• Cohort start: for cohort-based programs, refund eligibility ends when the cohort begins.

Digital products (ebooks, templates, downloads)

Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, they are generally non-refundable once downloaded. If a product is defective or you were charged in error, contact us and we will make it right.

How to request a refund

Email hello@yourownbooks.com with your name, the product or program, and the date of purchase. We aim to respond within 3 business days.

Exceptional circumstances

We understand life happens. If your situation isn’t covered above, reach out — we review reasonable requests in good faith.
